This is one of the most important life skills. We all want our sons and daughters to be independent and self-reliant. Preparing a healthy meal for themselves or a loved one is a simple but extremely important task – it teaches you to follow a recipe, mix the right ingredients, experiment, or even appreciate the taste of food. It’s also a great way to learn about nutrition and sharing. However, a child learns much more from this amazing art

While cooking, fine motor skills are also developed, children get the opportunity to put math into practice and appreciate food and learn to prepare amazing meals. Cooking is a creative activity that helps every child feel accomplished and proud. Cooking together also fosters cooperation and communication.

Swimming

Swimming activities help build awareness, especially about safety and emergency behavior. They also foster personal growth, which in turn helps develop self-confidence.

Parents often avoid getting their children into the pool, claiming they are too young for it. However, studies have shown that introducing children to a sport at a young age works very well in the pool. This is because the movements made while swimming are natural for a toddler. Books and toys

Slightly older children are able to hold their attention longer. They usually talk a lot and ask a lot of questions. They enjoy experimenting with things and constantly developing physical skills. Therefore, it makes sense to help them with their daily development by purchasing the right accessories. Good toys for children aged 3 to 6 years include

  • learning aids that teach problem solving – puzzles (12 to 20+ pieces), blocks that connect to each other, and other smaller objects to sort by length, width, height, shape, color, smell, quantity, and other characteristics,
  • things to build – blocks to build complex structures, toys to transport, construction sets, baby furniture (sets to “live” in, food to play with), dress-up toys, dolls with accessories, puppets, and sand and water toys,
  • items for creative play – large and small crayons, markers, brushes of different sizes, large and small paper for drawing and painting, colored paper, scissors (adapted to the child), chalkboard and large and small chalk, modeling clay,
  • picture books with even more words and more detailed pictures than books for young children
