You have probably noticed that there are periods in your life when your immunity is low, you catch infections quickly, you feel weak and lethargic. This is a sign that your body needs support and strengthening. You need to analyze your lifestyle, especially if you observe

  • constantly tiredness, fatigue and sleeplessness,
  • headaches and dizziness,
  • lack of energy to act,
  • frequent infections of various types,
  • increased allergies,
  • skin problems, eczema, dry skin,
  • an increased craving for sweets.

These symptoms may indicate a malfunction of the immune system. Most often it is caused by a poorly balanced diet, unhygienic lifestyle, exhaustion, stress. If you do not move much, eat mainly fast food, avoid vegetables and fruits, smoke cigarettes or do not care about getting enough sleep, you may start to get sick. Your immunity may also be lowered when you are sick or taking certain medications. Try not to let this happen and learn about the products that will effectively improve the functioning of your body and strengthen your immunity

Products that strengthen immunity

Immunity can be boosted in many ways. There are supplements available in pharmacies, aimed at improving the functioning of the immune system. Of course, you can use them, but a much better option are natural products that are not only tasty, but also healthy. Remember about a healthy diet, because thanks to it you provide your body with all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Recommended are vegetables, fruits, pickles, whole grain products, fatty fish, natural honey. Try to add to your daily meals:

  • Products rich in vitamin C – citrus fruits, yellow vegetables, peppers are products thanks to which you will strengthen the body, and in case of illness you will shorten its duration. Remember tea with lemon, which is rich in vitamin C.
  • Garlic – is called a natural antibiotic because it effectively prevents seasonal infections and helps to recover faster. You can add garlic to sandwiches, soups or lunches, you can also drink a concoction of milk, butter, garlic and honey.
  • Onion syrup – this is another healthy and natural remedy with powerful antibacterial, antiviral and strengthening effects. You can eat onions in any form. It tastes great raw, as an addition to salads or salads, it also adds flavor to warm dishes.
  • Broth – this is a dish which probably was served by your grandmother or mother during your illness. An essential broth helps get rid of the first symptoms of a cold, warms up and facilitates breathing. It is recommended during convalescence and weakness. It is tasty and aromatic.
  • Honey – is a remedy that has long been used to boost immunity. In case of infections, it soothes a sore throat and perfectly strengthens the body.
  • Echinacea – extract from this plant is rich in valuable vitamins and is known for its beneficial properties. It has anti-inflammatory and immunity-boosting properties.
  • Pickles – are rich in natural probiotic bacteria that stimulate the immune system to work better. Be sure to include sauerkraut, cucumbers, beets, as well as natural kefir and yogurt in your diet.
  • Herbs, such as nettle, aloe vera, rosehip, calendula or elderberry – nature is irreplaceable in the fight for immunity. Herbs contain numerous vitamins and minerals that improve the functioning of the entire body. They have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, so include them in your daily diet.

Other ways to boost immunity

To boost your immune system, you need to ensure a hygienic lifestyle. In addition to a diet rich in healthy products, remember to get your daily dose of exercise. Physical activity supports immunity, affects good mood and well-being. It is worth to exercise several times a week, 40-60 minutes each. Such a dose of exercise is enough to make the body strong and resistant to harmful substances. The correct amount and quality of sleep is important. Remember to sleep at least 7-8 hours a night. Air your home frequently and do not overheat. You must also learn to fight stress, which is the enemy of immunity. Learn relaxation techniques, learn to rest. Read, meet with friends, go for a walk. Very important in the fight for a healthy body is proper hydration. Drink plenty of water, love herbal teas, such as lime, ginger or raspberry. They will strengthen you and help defeat viruses. As you can see, there are many ways to improve immunity. Get to know them, and your body will be strong and will quickly overcome any disease.
